The NEXO ePS Series is a compact, high‑performance loudspeaker family designed specifically for professional fixed installations. Built on NEXO’s renowned PS point‑source platform, ePS delivers controlled coverage, high output, and excellent intelligibility in a streamlined, cost‑effective format — without compromising sound quality.
Available in 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” models, the ePS range scales easily from background and foreground music to high‑impact distributed audio systems. All models share the same acoustic design, voicing, and coverage behaviour, ensuring consistent performance across mixed‑size installations.
A key feature of the range is NEXO’s rotatable asymmetrical constant‑directivity horn, allowing installers to optimise vertical and horizontal coverage for even sound distribution and improved speech intelligibility in real‑world spaces. This makes ePS ideally suited to hospitality venues, retail, education, houses of worship, transport facilities, and commercial environments.
Indoor & EN54 Variants
The ePS Series is available in two environmental variants, allowing the same loudspeaker platform to be deployed throughout an entire site:
- ePS (Indoor) – Optimised for indoor fixed installations.
- ePS‑EN54 – IP‑rated and EN54‑24 certified for life‑safety and outdoor applications, featuring enhanced weather protection and materials designed for long‑term reliability in demanding environments.
Aside from environmental protection and certification, both versions share the same form factor, acoustic performance, and system integration, making it easy to combine indoor and EN54‑rated loudspeakers while maintaining a consistent sound signature across the venue.
Connectivity & System Integration
All ePS loudspeakers are designed for straightforward installation and long‑term reliability. Connectivity is provided via hard‑wired screw terminal block connections with IN/OUT looping, allowing clean daisy‑chaining in distributed audio systems. EN54 versions include an IP‑protected rear cover to maintain environmental sealing in outdoor or exposed installations.
The ePS Series integrates seamlessly with NEXO system processing, ensuring predictable performance, consistent voicing, and compatibility with other NEXO loudspeaker systems within the same venue.
Mounting Accessories & Installation Flexibility
A comprehensive range of mounting accessories allows ePS loudspeakers to be deployed in virtually any fixed‑installation scenario. Cabinets feature multiple integrated M6 and M10 rigging points, supporting wall mounting, ceiling suspension, U‑brackets, eye bolts, and flown configurations in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
Dedicated matching installation subwoofers are available to extend low‑frequency performance, with accessories that allow full‑range ePS cabinets to be mounted directly below the subwoofer for compact, visually discreet wideband systems.
